Question

in the experiment of producing induced currnet there is no battery connected and via magnet we produce current. Now my question is if we connect a battery also in the circuit and then do the same experiment of bringing the magnet closer to the solenoid and current is also flowing in the circuit will the current be produced? And if yes ,will it be more or less?

Solution

The current that we get from magnetic induction is Alternative Current, that is, it changes with time. While the current from a battery is direct Current, it remains fairly constant.

Now, if we add a battery in the circuit current will still be generated but this current will sometimes be subtracted by the current due to the battery when the direction of flow of current due to induction and due to battery are opposite. And sometimes the induced current will add up with the current due to the battery when the directions are same.
