show that the product of the areas of the floor and two adjacent walls of a cuboid is the square of its volume

Open in App
Solution

Let the Length of cuboid = l

Breadth = b

Height = h

Area of base = l × b

area of two adjacent walls = l × h and b × h

Now product of area of base and two adjacent walls = (l × b) ( l × h) ( b × h)

= (l × b × h)2

= (volume of cuboid)2
