Le-chatalier principle is also said to be Le-Chatalier-Braun principle. This principle states that if any change is imposed on a system which is in equilibrium, then the equilibrium gets shifted to overcome the applied change. The change can be implied in form of concentration of reactants, catalyst, pressure and temperature.
In haber process, preparation of ammonia is exotheremic in nature so on increasing the temperature the rate of reaction decreases. in this reaction, temperature is set up in a compromising way so that preparation of ammonia is quicker.
