Two particles A and B stars simultaneously from the same point . A moves with constant velocity of 25 m/s and B starts from rest but with uniform acceleration of 2 m/s2. Find the time after which they will meet again .

Distance travelled by CarA ,s = ut+12at2=ut ( as it travelled with constant velocity so, a =0)s = 25 t....(1)Distance travelled by Car Bs = 12at2 ( as u = 0)s =12×2× t2= t2....(2)So , when they meet eqn (1) is equal to (2) 25 t= t2So , t = 25 secSo , they will meet after 25 sec.
