Given quadratic equation is 6x2+9x-12=0Finding the roots using quadratic formula 6x2+9x-12=03(2x2+3x-4) =02x2+3x-4=0x=-3±(3)2-4×2×(-4)2×2=-3±414=-3±6.404Hence x = 3.404=0.85 or -9.404=-2.35Hence factors of the quadratic equation are (x-0.85) and (x+2.35)And the roots are 0.85 and -2.35

Note:- It is very difficult to find the factors by factorisation method since roots are typical.
