Question

why can't a plant grow without adding manure and fertilizer ?

Open in App
Solution

Plants need proper nutrients supply for their growth which is met by adding manures and fertilisers. Soil which contains adequate amount of manure ( good source of humus) and fertilisers( good source of nutrients) supports good growth of plants. Initially, plant can grow in soil lacking maures and fertilizers, but will definitely fail to grow further in that soil.
