Question

A

B

C

D

Solution

The correct option is A

f(x) becomes zero at x=0
Let f(x)=f(x1), this function will become zero when x=1. For the same value of y, lets find the value of x, for f(x) and f(x)

y1 = f(x) = f(x)

 y1 = f(x1) = f(x2  1)

 x2 = x1 + 1

This means, f(x) will attain the same value y after 1 unit. So the graph will be shifted 1 unit to the right.
