Question

Pls explain me how to get the answer

What is he degree of polynomial p(x)=ax⁴+bx³+cx²+dx+e

a/b=0&b≠0

Solution

Degree of this polynomial is 3
Explanation :
The degree of polynomial is the highest degree of  it's individual  with non zero coefficients.
given a/b=0 and b not equal to 0
so a should be 0  to satisfy a/b=0
since a=0 which is coefficient of x4
degree of this polynomial is 3
