Statement 1 is incorrect: Pyramid of numbers represents the number of organisms in each trophic level. It can be both upright and inverted. This is because, in case of a grassland ecosystem the number of grasses will be more than the number of herbivores which feed upon the grasses and the number of herbivores is more than the number of carnivores.
