Sir Syed Ahmed Khan is the founder of the Aligarh Movement. It was a reformist movement.

They believed that if Muslim community would forgo their rightful share in the administrative services if they shut themselves in a shell and resist modern ideas.

Therefore, he tried to reconcile his coreligionists to modern scientific thought and to the British rule and urged them to accept services under the Government.

The movement tried to reform the social abuses in the Muslim community. It condemned the institution of slavery and described it un-Islamic. Sir Syed Ahmad Khan criticised the narrow outlook of traditional interpreters and advised everyone to read Koran

The word of God, he said, should be interpreted by the work of God which lies open before all to see. Hence, 3rd statement is not correct.
