[ Area of the circle =πr2]

Given that a circular park is surrounded by a road

Width of the road = 21 m

Radius of the park (r1)=105 m

Radius of whole circular portion ( Park + road)

re=105+21=126 m

Now, area of road = Area of whole circular portion - Area of circular park

=πr2eπr21 [ Area of circle=πr2]

=π(r2er21)

=π{(1262(105)2)}

=227×(126+105)(126105)

=227×231×21

[(a2b2)=(ab)(a+b)]

=66×231

=15246 cm2

Hence, the required area of the road is =15246 cm2
