Human activities which are responsible for adding carbon dioxide to the atmosphere are:
i) Respiration - both plants and animals release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
ii) Decomposition of organic wastes and dead bodies.
iii) The burning of fossil fuels like wood, coal, petrol, gas and kerosene.
