Area of the sector = 100 cm²

∴ Area of the corresponding major sector = Area of the circle − Area of the sector

$$\begin{gathered} =\mathrm{\pi }{r}^2-100 \\ =3.14\times {\left(10\right)}^2-100 \\ =314-100 \\ =214{\mathrm{cm}}^2 \end{gathered}$$
Thus, the area of the corresponding major sector is 214 cm².
