We know that,
Number of days rajan requires to do a piece of work =24 days

Number of days amit requires to do a piece of work =30 days
∴ We can calculate, work done by rajan in 1 day =1/24
And work done by amit in 1 day =1/30
Now, work done by both rajan and amit together in 1 day =1/24+1/30=54/720=3/40
∴ they can do work together in 40/3 days =13.3 days
