The correct option is C 10 days

Let whole the work is x then balance work after four days = $\frac{40x}{100}$
Days completing the whole work alone by Shyam $\frac{8\times 100\times x}{40x}=20days$
Work done in 4 days be Shyam = $\frac{x}{20}\times 4$
$\frac{x}{5}$
So work done by Ram In 4 days = $\frac{6x}{10}-\frac{x}{5}$
$=\frac{2x}{5}$
Days for completing the whole work by Ram only
$=\frac{4\times 5\times 5}{2x}$
=10 days
