The correct option is B Ram $=25$ years, Father $=50$ years

Let the age of Ram’s father be x years

Hence age of Ram $=\frac{x}{2}$ years

Age of Ram’s father 20 years ago = (x – 20) years

Ram’s age 20 years ago = $=\frac{x}{2}$ – 20 years

Hence (x – 20) = 6[$=\frac{x}{2}$ – 20]

$\Rightarrow$ x – 20 = 3x – 120

$\Rightarrow$ 120 – 20 = 3x – x

$\Rightarrow$ 100 = 2x

$\therefore$ x = 50

Hence Ram’s father age is 50 years

Ram’s age = $=\frac{x}{2}$ = $=\frac{50}{2}$ = 25 years
