Solution

The correct option is C A, C & D
During the rainy seasons, the lowlands of the river valleys get flooded. As the river recedes, some areas are left with new alluvial deposits every year. And this region of new alluvial deposits is called the Khadar Region. The Khadar region is enriched by fresh deposits of silt every year. Thus, they are more fertile than the Bhangar region.

The Bangar plains are the older alluvial plains that lie above the flood limits of neighbouring rivers. They comprise of calcium carbonate nodules called ‘Kankars’ which are impure in nature.
