The correct option is B Move the solenoid away from the magnet
Direction of deflection depends on the polarity of the bar magnet brought close to the coil.
If south polarity is bought close to one side of the coil, the side will tend to oppose it and hence will acquire south pole characteristics and it produces deflection of the points towards the right, nor when the solenoid moves away from the magnet, using len'z law solenoid will try to oppose the motion and hence will acquire north polarity (right side of the coil) which will resat into pointer moving towards left.
