Sarita's mother is now four times as odd as Sarita. Five years hence, her mother will be three times as old as Sarita will be then. Find their present ages.

Let age of sarita be S.

& age of mother be M

Now,

$M=45$ ………...$\left(1\right)$

After $5$ years,

$M+S=3(5+5)$ ………..$\left(2\right)$

From $\left(1\right)$ & $\left(2\right)$

$45+5=35+15$

$=45-35=15-5$

$=S=10$

$M=45=4\times 10=40$

Mothers age is $40$ yrs & Saritas age is $10$ yrs.
