Solution

The correct option is B

Dioecious plants have unisexual flowers

In several fungi and flowering plants, terms such as homothallic and monoecious are used to denote the bisexual condition of reproductive organs or flowers. Homothallic refers to the possession, within a single organism, the resources to reproduce sexually i. e having male and female reproductive structures on the same thallus. And monoecious is having both male and female reproductive organs in the same individual; hermaphrodite. Heterothallic and dioecious are the terms used to describe the unisexual condition. Thus both monoecious and dioecious plants have unisexual flowers. In monoecious plants, there are separate male and female flowers on the same plant whereas in dioecious plants, male and female flowers are present on distinct plants.
