Dear Student, fx= x3-6x2-13x+42Now if x-2 is factor so x = 2 will satisfyf2= 23-6×22-13×2+42= 0 So it is a factor.f-3= -33-6×-32-13×-3+42= 0 So it is a factor. Similarly, f7= 0 so it is also a factor. Regards
