Side of the cube, l = 4.5 cm

∴ Surface area of all vertical faces of the cube = 4l² = 4 × (4.5 cm)² = 4 × 20.25 cm² = 81 cm²

Also,

Total surface area of the cube = 6l² = 6 × (4.5 cm)² = 6 × 20.25 cm² = 121.50 cm²

Thus, the surface area of all the vertical faces and total surface area of the cube is 81 cm² and 121.50 cm², respectively.
