Sir,

It is said that matter is neither created nor destroyed. When the reproduction happens, doesn't a new matter being created? I am confused about this concept.

During reproduction, new matter is not produced. The energy we get while we eat food is converted to sperms and eggs which combine to form nee child. So new matter is not formed. Matter from food is converted to offspring.
