Solve each of the following equations by using the method of completing the square:
3x2+10x+73=0

3x2+10x+73=0

x2+103+7= 0

x2+103=-7

Third term = (12×coefficientofx)2

= (12×103)2

= (53)2

=253

Therefore,

x2+103 + 253=-7 + 253.. (adding to both sides)

x2+103 + 253 = 43.

( x - 53.) =± 23 ... (taking square roots)

Hence,

x = 73 ,√3
