$3 x - 4 y = 26$
multiply this equation by $2$ , we get
$6 x - 8 y = 52 \to (1)$
$6 x - 10 y = 40 \to (2)$
$s u b t r a c t i n g (1) f r o m (2),$
we get
$2 y = 12$
$y = 6$
$t h e n 3 x - 4 y = 26$
$3 x = 26 + 4 y$
$= 26 + 24$
$x = (\frac{50}{3})$
