We use trial and error method,

$3 m - 14 = 4$

Put, $m = 0$
$3 (0) - 14 = 4$
$⟹ - 14 \neq 4$

Put, $m = 1$
$3 (1) - 14 = 4$
$⟹ - 11 \neq 4$

Similarly check for $p = 2, 3, 4, 5, 6$

So, for $p = 6$
We get,

$3 (6) - 14 = 4$
$⟹ 4 = 4$

Hence $m = 6$
