The correct option is A x=1 and y=2
2x+3y=4 -------------(1)

x+y=1-------------(2)

D=2311

=(2)×(1)1×(3)
=23
=1

Dx=4311

=(4)×(1)(1)×(3)
=43
=1

Now,
Dy=2411

=(2)×(1)(1)×(4)
=24
=2

Again,

x=(Dx)D and y=(Dy)D

So, x=11=1

and

y=(2)1=2

Hence,

x=1 and y=2
