Solve using quadratic formula,
$$abx^{2}-(a^{2}+b^{2})\ x+ab=0$$


Solution

$$abx^2-\left(a^2+b^2\right)x+ab=0$$

$$x=\dfrac{-b\pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}$$

$$x=\dfrac{-\left(-a^2-b^2\right)\pm\sqrt{\left(-a^2-b^2\right)^2-4abab}}{2ab}$$

$$x=\dfrac{a}{b},\dfrac{b}{a}$$
