$x^{2} + 2 x^{2} + 5 - 4 = 0$

$3 x^{2} + 1 = 0$

$3 x^{2} = - 1$

$x = \pm \sqrt{- \frac{1}{3}}$

$x = \pm \frac{i}{\sqrt{3}}$
