The temperature at which ice and water are in equilibrium or the temperature at which water turns into ice . Temperature of ice point is $0^{o}C$ .

Now we have relation between Celsius scale and Fahrenheit scale ,

$\frac{T_C-0}{100}=\frac{T_F-32}{180}$ ,

given $T_C=0^{o}C$ ,

hence , $\frac{0-0}{100}=\frac{T_F-32}{180}$ ,

or $T_F={32}^{0}F$

Steam point:

The temperature at which maximum vapour pressure equals the one atmospheric pressure or the temperature at which water starts boiling . Temperature of steam point is ${100}^{o}C$ ,
