Question

State Universal Law of gravitation.

Solution

According to the Universal law of Gravitation, also known as the Newton's law of gravitation, any two bodies in the universe attract each other. This attractive force is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

$$F\propto \dfrac{m_{1}m_{2}}{d^{2}}$$

$$F=\dfrac{G.m_{1}m_{2}}{d^{2}}$$, where $$G$$ is the Universal Gravitational constant.
