When we see our image in a mirror, the following steps occur:
1. Light from a source falls on the face.

2. Our face reflects light in all directions.

3. Reflected light from the face falls on the mirror and is reflected back.

4. When light reflected from the mirror reaches our eyes, we see our face.

If a room is dark, it means there is no light source in that room. Step 1 does not happen, and hence, we cannot see our reflection in the mirror.

Therefore, only statement 1 is correct.
