Solution

The correct option is A Both the statements are correct.
The word Dashamesh is a combination of two words: Dasham which means 10th and Ish which means master or God. Guru Gobind Singh was the tenth Guru of Sikhism. He dressed well, wore clean clothes, carried weapons, and wore a kalgi on his head at all times. Guruji defied the Mughal rule as a kalgi was only worn by Mughal and Rajput kings. Guruji gave away the message that he was his own master or king. Thus, Guruji is remembered as the Kalgidhar Dashmesh.
