Question

Subtract the sum of 2x24x+11 and 7x24x+1 from the sum of 8x27x7 and 6x2+4x6.

Open in App
Solution

Let S1=(2x24x+11)+(7x24x+1)=(2+7)x2+(44)x+(11+1)=9x28x+12

and S2=(8x27x7)+(6x2+4x6)=(14)x2+(7+4)x+(67)=14x23x13

Now, S2S1=(14x23x13)(9x28x+12)=14x23x139x2+8x12=5x2+5x25
