Let MP be $Rsx$.

So, after $20$5 discount, SP will be $x-(x\times \frac{20}{100})=Rs$. $0.8x$

If discount was 25%, then the new SP will be$x-(x\times \frac{25}{100})=$Rs $0.75x$

Difference in $SP=500$

$0.8x-0.75x=500$

$0.05x=500$

$x=Rs10,000$

So, the price of the TV is $Rs10,000$.
