Solution

<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--> The electronic configuration of an element is written by taking care of two basic assumptions in mind.
Firstly, the maximum number of electrons that can enter into an orbit is given by 2n2.
Secondly, an electron enters the outer orbit only when the inner orbits are filled.
Atomic number-13: 2, 8, 3.
Atomic number-14: 2, 8, 4.
