Given : Length of each side of the
square is x+5 units.

Area of a square = side×side
=(x+5)×(x+5)=(x+5)2

Using the identity,
(a+b)2=a2+2ab+b2,

we get
(x+5)2
=x2+2×x×5+52=x2+10x+25
