Solution

8

Area of a sector subtending angle θ degrees at the centre of a circle of radius r is given by πr2×θ360o.

Now, πr2×θ360o=π

π×22×θ360o=π

θ=90o

Therefore, the angle subtended at the centre of the circle is 90 degrees.
