The area of right-angled triangle is 96m3. If its base is three times its altitude, find the base.

Given base = 3 x Altitude

Area of Traingle = 1/2 x Base x Altitude
= 1/2 x 3 x Altitude x Altitude
Given Area = 96m² = 3/2 x Altitude²
96 = 3/2 x Alt²
=> Alt² = 64
=> Alt = 8 m

Base = 3 x Altitude
= 3 x 8
= 24 m
