Given, Area of smaller triangleArea of bigger triangle=1248

Let height of the bigger triangle be x.

We know that

Area of smaller triangleArea of bigger triangle=(Height of smaller triangle)2(Height of bigger triangle)2

(Height of smaller triangle)2(Height of bigger triangle)2=1248=14

(2.1)2x2=14

x=4×(2.1)2=2×2.1=4.2 cm

Therefore, height of the bigger triangle is 4.2 cm.
