No.of moles=(massmolar mass)

No. of atom = no. of moles ×NA

And given no.of atoms in x g of A=y

x40×NA=y

x=40yNA

And no.of atoms in 2x g of B=2x80NA

Substituting the value of x in the above equation:

2×40y×NA80×NA

=y

Hence, y atoms are present in 2x g of B.

Option (c) is the correct answer.
