Solution

The correct option is C Sardar Patel
The Bardoli satyagraha was a revolt during the Indian Independence movement led by Sardar Patel. The farmers of Bardoli faced severe financial crisis due to failure of crop production caused by famine and floods in 1925. Under the leadership of Patel, the Bardoli peasants decided to refuse payments of the revised assessment until the Government appointed an independent tribunal. The success of the protest raised the status of Sardar Patel became one of the main leaders of the national movement.
