The given diagram represents the simplified pathway of the circulation of blood. The correct labelling is as follows
(i) The blood vessels labelled 1 and 2 are anterior vena cava (superior vena cava) and aorta respectively.
(ii) The blood vessel 5 carry oxygenated blood from the aorta (heart to the liver). The blood vessel 8 carries deoxygenated blood from the posterior body to the right auricle of the heart.
(iii) This blood vessel 6 contain blood with absorbed food and toxins which are drained in the liver where it is detoxified.
(iv) Hepatic portal vein contains a high amount of glucose after the meal.
