$\Rightarrow$ y - x = 32 , (y + 4) = 3 (x + 4)
y = 32 + x
substituting the value of years the second equation
$\Rightarrow (32 + x + 4) = 3 (x + 4)$
$\Rightarrow x + 36 = 3 x + 12$
$\Rightarrow$ 24 = 2x $\Rightarrow$ x - 12 yrs
y = 32 + 12 = 44 yrs
