Solution

Taking pi as 3.14 will give an approximate answer. You can do it by taking 227 as well

Let the radius be r cm

Circumference will be,
2πr=2×3.14×r=6.28×r

According to the question

2πrr=37

6.28r- 1r =37
5.28r = 37
r=375.28
r=approx.7cm

Area=πr2=3.14×7×7=154
Answer= 154 cm2
