Flow of urine into the urinary bladder is not controlled by sphincters.
The opening of urinary bladder into urethra is controlled by a pair of sphincters, called upper and lower.
After the bladder is filled beyond its limit, a pressure is exerted on to the walls of urinary bladder.
This triggers off an automatic reflex action causing relaxation of the upper sphincter.
The lower sphincter is regulated by brain.
When both the sphincters are realxed, micturition happens, resulting in the removal of urine out of the body.
