Magnetic force on the charged particle       $$F_m  =q (\vec{v} \times \vec{B})  = qvB $$ $$sin\theta$$

$$\therefore$$  $$F_{m}$$ is maximum when    $$sin\theta  =1$$     OR     $$\theta = 90^o$$
