Solution

The correct option is A Breakdown proteins
Pancreatic juice is secreted by acinar cells of pancreas. It contains a carbohydrate digesting enzyme - pancreatic amylase, protein digesting enzymes in inactive forms, namely trypsinogen, chymotrypsinogen and carboxypeptidases, a fat digesting enzyme, pancreatic lipase. The enzyme trypsin is synthesized by pancreas in an inactive form trypsinogen. Trypsinogen gets activated to trypsin by enzyme enterokinase present in the intestinal juice. Trypsin hydrolyses proteins into peptides.
Thus, the correct answer is option B.
