We know that a diode only conducts in forward biased condition. In the given circuit, the diode D1 is in reverse bias, so it will block the current and diode D2is in forward bias, so it will pass the current. So now R1and R3 will be in series and since diode is ideal, it will not have any resistance. Hence, total resistance
Req=R1+R3
i=vR1+R3 =102+2=2.5 A
