Photo-current in photoelectric effect is directly proportional to the intensity of the incident light. So, as intensity is increased to 4 times so,current is increased to 4 times. Now current is number of electrons emitted per second,so as current increase number of electrons ejected per second also increased.
Therefore ,number of electrons ejected per second quadrupled as current or intensity is increased to four times.
